Other interior features3Interior featuresGS_G_U (OM30C11U)June 30, 2011 8:14 amSafety Connect LED light IndicatorsWhen the "ENGINE START STOP" swit ch is turned to IGNITION ONmode, the red indicator light comes on for 2 seconds then turns off.Afterward, the green indicator light comes on, indicating that the serviceis active.The following indicator light patterns indicate specific system usage con-ditions:● Green indicator light on = Active service● Green indicator light flashing = Safety Connect call in process● Red indicator light (except at vehicle start-up) = System malfunction(contact your Lexus dealer)● No indicator light (off) = Safety Connect service not activeSafety Connect services■ Automatic Collision NotificationIn case of either airbag deployment or severe collision, the system isdesigned to automatically call the response center. The respondingagent receives the vehicle's locati on and attempts to speak with thevehicle occupants to assess the leve l of emergency. If the occupantsare unable to communicate, the agent automatically treats the call asan emergency, contacts the nearest emergency services provider todescribe the situation, and requests that assistance be sent to the loca-tion.
