Steps to take in an emergency■Stopping the engineShift the shift lever to P and press the "ENGINE START STOP" switch as you nor-mally do when stopping the engine.■Replacing the key batteryAs the above procedure is a temporary measure, it is recommended that the elec-tronic key battery be replaced immediately when the battery depletes. (→P. 426)■Changing "ENGINE START STOP" switch modesWithin 10 seconds of the buzzer sounding, release the brake pedal and press the"ENGINE START STOP" switch. The engine does not start and modes will be changed each time the switch ispressed. (→P. 141)
