Safety information1Before drivingWhile pushing the child seat intothe rear seat, allow the shoulderbelt to retract until the child seat issecurely in place.After the shoulder belt hasretracted to a point where there isno slack in the belt, pull the belt tocheck that it cannot be extended. nBooster seatPlace the booster seat on the seatfacing the front of the vehicle.Sit the child in the booster seat. Fitthe seat belt to the booster seataccording to the manufacturer'sinstructions and insert the plateinto the buckle. Make sure that thebelt is not twisted.Check that the shoulder belt is cor-rectly positioned over the child'sshoulder, and that the lap belt is aslow as possible. (→P. 52 )STEP 4STEP 1STEP 2
