Push the "AUTO" button.An indicator light will illuminate to showthat the automatic operation mode hasbeen selected.Air flow quantity, switching of the dif fusers,on−off of the air conditioning, and switch-ing of the air intake between RECIRCU-LATED AIR and OUTSIDE AIR are auto-matically adjusted. The operation status isshown by each indicator.When one of the manual control buttons isdepressed while operating in automaticmode, the mode relevant to the depressedbutton is set. Other conditions continue tobe adjusted automatically.Push the "OFF" button to turn the fan off.INFORMATIONThis automatic control has addi-tional function as described below,when the "AUTO" button ispushed.The fan speed is stopped for a littlewhile until warm air preparation,when outside temperature is coldlike a winter season in the "Floor","Bi−level" or "Floor/Windshield"air flow mode. If quick removal forexterior frost, fog and inside fog onthe windshield is desired, use thehigh fan speed setting after the"Windshield" air flow mode hasbeen selected.The fan speed is stopped few sec-onds until cool air preparation,when outside temperature is hotlike a summer season in the "Pan-el" or "Bi−level" air flow mode.The "Floor/Windshield" air flowmode may be applied automatical-ly, if the outside temperature islowered down to below 0C (32F).This is not malfunction. The"Floor/Windshield" air flow modeturns on the defogging and de-frosting function with the purposeof cleaning your front view for safedriving.If the "Floor" air flow mode is de-sired with the main purpose ofheating, "Floor" air flow mode canbe selected manually by touchingthe air flow control button.
