3-12Ventilation TipsKeep the hood and front air inlet free of ice, snow orany other obstruction such as leaves. The heater anddefroster will work better, reducing the chance offogging your windows.In cool damp weather, minimize your use ofrecirculation to reduce the chance of fogging your windows.When you enter a vehicle with the manual system incold weather, select floor mode to supply air throughthe floor outlets. Then turn the fan on high for a fewmoments before driving away. This will blow moistair from the intake outlets toward the floor, not thewindshield. It reduces the chance of fogging yourwindows. If you have the automatic system, theAUTO setting will do this for you. Manual operationof the automatic system in the floor mode will alsosupply air through the floor outlets.Keep the air path under the front seats clear ofobjects. This helps air to circulate throughout your vehicle.Comfort Control Steering Wheel Controls(If Equipped)If your vehicle has thisfeature, you can controlcertain comfort controlfunctions using the buttonson your steering wheel. (Fan): Press the up arrow to increase the fan speedand the down arrow to decrease the fan speed. (Temperature): Press the up arrow to increase thetemperature of the air flowing through the system andthe down arrow to decrease the temperature of the airflowing through the system.
