3-24AM-FM Stereo with Compact Disc Playerwith Radio Data System (RDS) andAutomatic Tone Control (If Equipped)Playing the RadioVOL PWR: Press this control to turn the system on andoff. Turn this control clockwise to increase volume.Turn it counterclockwise to decrease volume.AUTO VOL: Your system has a feature calledSpeed-Compensated Volume (SCV). With SCV, youraudio system adjusts automatically to make up for roadand wind noise as you drive.Set the volume at the desired level. Press AUTO VOL toadjust the SCV. AVOL will appear on the display. Eachtime you press AUTO VOL, another volume setting(LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH or OFF) will appear on thedisplay. The volume level should always sound the sameto you as you drive. Each volume setting allows formore volume compensation at faster vehicle speeds.NONE will appear on the display if the radio cannotdetermine the vehicle speed. If you don't want to useSCV, select OFF.Finding a StationAM FM: Press this button to switch between AM, FM1and FM2. The display shows your selection.TUNE DISP: Turn this control to choose radio stations.Pressing this control will also display an RDS stationfrequency or program type when the radio is on.Pressing this control when the ignition is off will displaythe clock.
