3-33AUTO VOL: Your system has a feature calledSpeed-Compensated Volume (SCV). With SCV, youraudio system adjusts automatically to make up for roadand wind noise as you drive.Set the volume at the desired level. Press AUTO VOL to adjust the SCV. AVOL will appear on the display.Each time you press AUTO VOL, another volumesetting (LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH or OFF) will appear onthe display. The volume level should always sound thesame to you as you drive. Each volume setting allowsfor more volume compensation at faster vehicle speeds.NONE will appear on the display if the radio cannotdetermine the vehicle speed. If you don't want to useSCV, select OFF.If your vehicle has the Bose radio, your audio systemmonitors the noise inside your vehicle. Then, automaticvolume automatically adjusts the volume of your radioso that it always sounds the same to you. To useautomatic volume, press the AUTO VOL button untilAVOL ON appears on the display. To turn the automaticvolume off, press the AUTO VOL button until AVOLOFF appears on the display.Finding a StationAM FM: Press this button to switch between AM, FM1and FM2. The display will show your selection.TUNE DISP: Turn this control to choose radio stations.Pressing this control will also display an RDS stationfrequency or program type when the radio is on.Pressing this control when the ignition is off will displaythe clock. SEEK PSCAN : To seek, press the right arrow totune to the next station and the left arrow to tune to theprevious station and stay there.To scan your preset stations, press and hold one of thearrows for more than two seconds. The radio willproduce one beep. Use preset scan to listen to each ofyour favorite stations stored on your pushbuttons for afew seconds. The radio will scan through each of thestations stored on your pushbuttons, except thosestations with weak reception. Press one of the arrows orone of the pushbuttons again to stop scanning. SCANwill be displayed whenever the tuner is in the presetscan mode. The channel number (P1 through P6) willappear with the frequency. In FM mode, this functionwill scan through the current band such as FM1 or FM2.
