2-6Door LocksCAUTION:Unlocked doors can be dangerous.Passengers -- especially children -- caneasily open the doors and fall out of amoving vehicle. When a door is locked, thehandle won't open it. You increase thechance of being thrown out of the vehicle ina crash if the doors aren't locked. So, wearsafety belts properly and lock the doorswhenever you drive.Young children who get into unlockedvehicles may be unable to get out. A childcan be overcome by extreme heat and cansuffer permanent injuries or even deathfrom heat stroke. Always lock your vehiclewhenever you leave it.Outsiders can easily enter through anunlocked door when you slow down or stopyour vehicle. Locking your doors can helpprevent this from happening.There are several ways to lock and unlock your vehicle.You can use the remote keyless entry system.You can use your key to unlock your door from the outside.You can lock or unlock the door from the inside bysliding the manual lever forward or rearward. When thedoor is unlocked, you can see a red area on the lever.The manual lever on each rear door works only thatdoor's lock.
