2-62Accessory Power OutletsWith the accessory power outlets, you can plug inauxiliary electrical equipment such as a cellulartelephone or CB radio.Your vehicle has three accessory power outlets. The firstoutlet is located to the right of the cigarette lighter onthe instrument panel. The second outlet is located on therear of the center console, and the third one is located inthe rear of the vehicle near the liftgate.Remove the cover from the outlet to use the outlet. Be sure to put the cover back on when not using theaccessory power outlet.Certain electrical accessories may not be compatiblewith the accessory power outlet and could result inblown vehicle or adaptor fuses. If you experience aproblem, see your dealer for additional information onthe accessory power outlets.NOTICE:Adding some electrical equipment to your vehiclecan damage it or keep other things from workingas they should. This wouldn't be covered by yourwarranty. Check with your dealer before addingelectrical equipment, and never use anything thatexceeds the fuse rating.When adding electrical equipment, be sure to follow the proper installation instructions included with the equipment.NOTICE:Power outlets are designed for accessory plugsonly. Do not hang any type of accessory oraccessory bracket from the plug. Improper use ofthe power outlet can cause damage not coveredby your warranty.
