Steps to take in an emergencyCT200h_OM_OM76066U_(U)If your vehicle overheatsCorrection procedures■If the high coolant temperature warning light comes on or flashesStop the vehicle in a safe place and turn off the air conditioningsystem, and then stop the hybrid system.If you see steam: Carefully lift the hood after the steam subsides.If you do not see steam:Carefully lift the hood.After the hybrid system has cooleddown sufficiently, inspect the hosesand radiator core (radiator) for anyleaks.RadiatorCooling fanIf a large amount of coolant leaks,immediately contact your Lexusdealer.The following may indicate that your vehicle is overheating:●The high coolant temperature warning light ( →P. 608) comes on orflashes, or a loss of hybrid system power is experienced. (For exam-ple, the vehicle speed does not increase.)●"HYBRID SYSTEM OVERHEAT" ( →P. 627) is shown on the multi-information display.●Steam comes out from under the hood.STEP 1STEP 2STEP 3
