LEXUS PARKING ASSIST- SENSOR283When obstacles are detected on thefront and rear of the vehicle at the sametime; the multi-information display andscreen illuminate their relevant indica-tor bars. And beeps are as follows:1Obstacles detected on the frontand rear of the vehicle are not inareas where continuous beepingshould sound:The warning for the obstacle closer to thevehicle will be issued. The above illustra-tion indicates the obstacle detected by theback sensors is closer to the vehicle. So,the warning for the obstacle detected bythe back sensors will be given.2The obstacle detected on the frontor rear of the vehicle is in an areawhere continuous beeping shouldsound:If the possibility of collision with the ob-stacle is high as shown, the parking as-sist-sensor warns the driver by continu-ous beeping (repeating 7 intermittentbeeps and one longer beep as one cycle).3Both obstacles detected on thefront and rear of the vehicle are inareas where continuous beepingshould sound:If the possibility of collision with the ob-stacles is very high as shown, the parkingassist-sensor warns the driver by continu-ous beeping (repeating 3 quick beeps andone longer beep as one cycle).CAUTIONIt might be difficult to hear beeps dueto the volume of audio or air flownoise of the air conditioning. Toavoid an accident or injury, driveslowly using the brakes while visual-ly confirming a safe distance aroundyour vehicle.- Numerous obstacles aredetected on the front and rearof the vehicle simultaneously
