License Plate Lamps Instrument Panel LightsThe exterior lamps control has four positions:O (Off):Turns off the automatic headlamps anddaytime running lamps (DRL). Turning the headlampcontrol to the off position again will turn the automaticheadlamps or DRL back on.For vehicles first sold in Canada, the off position willonly work for vehicles that are shifted into the P (Park)position.AUTO (Automatic): Automatically turns on theheadlamps at normal brightness, together with thefollowing: Parking Lamps Instrument Panel Lights Taillamps License Plate Lamps; (Parking Lamps):Turns on the parking lampstogether with the following: Instrument Panel Lights Taillamps License Plate Lamps2 (Headlamps):Turns on the headlamps togetherwith the following lamps listed below. Parking Lamps Instrument Panel Lights Taillamps License Plate LampsWhen the headlamps are turned on while the vehicle ison, the headlamps will turn off automatically 10 minutesafter the ignition is turned off. When the headlamps areturned on while the vehicle is off, the headlamps will stayon for 10 minutes before automatically turning off toprevent the battery from being drained. Turn theheadlamp control to off and then back to the headlamp onposition to make the headlamps stay on for an additional10 minutes.Headlamps on ReminderA reminder chime will sound when the headlamps orparking lamps are manually turned on and the ignition isoff and a door is open. To disable the chime, turn thelight off.3-15
