Certain accessory plugs may not be compatible to theaccessory power outlet and could result in blownadapter or vehicle fuses. If you experience a problem,see your dealer/retailer for additional information onthe accessory power plugs.Notice:Adding any electrical equipment to thevehicle can damage it or keep other componentsfrom working as they should. The repairs would notbe covered by the vehicle warranty. Do not useequipment exceeding maximum amperage rating of20 amperes. Check with your dealer/retailer beforeadding electrical equipment.When adding electrical equipment, be sure to follow theproper installation instructions included with theequipment. Do not use equipment exceeding themaximum amperage rating of 20 amperes.Notice:Improper use of the power outlet can causedamage not covered by the warranty. Do not hangany type of accessory or accessory bracket from theplug because the power outlets are designed foraccessory power plugs only.Ashtray(s) and Cigarette LighterThe front ashtray is located near the center of theinstrument panel or on the front console, if equipped.Pull on the ashtray door to open it.Notice:If papers, pins, or other flammable itemsare put in the ashtray, hot cigarettes or othersmoking materials could ignite them and possiblydamage the vehicle. Never put flammable itemsin the ashtray.To remove the front ashtray pull the ashtray up.To use the cigarette lighter, push it in all the way, andlet go. When it is ready, it will pop back out by itself.Notice:Holding a cigarette lighter in while itis heating does not let the lighter back away fromthe heating element when it is hot. Damage fromoverheating can occur to the lighter or heatingelement, or a fuse could be blown. Do not hold acigarette lighter in while it is heating.3-21
