Rear Air Conditioning and HeatingSystemFor vehicles with this system, the rear controls are threeknobs located in the headliner. The system can also becontrolled with the front controls.A. Fan ControlB. Temperature ControlC. Air Delivery Mode ControlREAR:Press the REAR button on the front climatecontrol system to turn the rear climate control system onor off. An indicator comes on when the rear system ison. SeeClimate Control System on page 3-22 orDual Automatic Climate Control System on page 3-24 .The rear system can also be turned off by turningthe rear fan knob to the9 position.Mimic Mode:This mode matches the rear climatecontrol to the front climate control airflow settings.It comes on when REAR is pressed the first time.Independent Mode: This mode directs rear seatingairflow according to the settings of the rear controls. Itcomes on when any rear control is adjusted.Temperature Control: Turn clockwise orcounterclockwise to increase or decrease the airflowtemperature into the passenger area.Fan Control:Turn clockwise or counterclockwise toincrease or decrease the fan speed.Air Delivery Mode Control: Turn clockwise orcounterclockwise to change the direction of the airflow.H (Vent):Air is directed through the headlineroutlets.) (Bi-Level):Air is directed through the floor andheadliner outlets. The rear system floor outletsare located directly behind the second row seats. Theflow can be divided between vent and floor outletsdepending upon where the knob is placed between thesettings.6 (Floor):Air is directed to the floor outlets. The rearsystem floor outlets are located directly behind thesecond row seats.3-31
