Returning the Seat(s) to the SittingPositionTo return the seat to the sitting position, do the following:1. Pull the seat down until it latches to the floor. Theseatback cannot be raised if the seat is not latchedto the floor.{ CAUTION:If either seatback is not locked, it could moveforward in a sudden stop or crash. That couldcause injury to the person sitting there. Alwayspush and pull on the seatbacks to be sure theyare locked.2. Lift the seatback and push it rearward. Push andpull on the seatback to make sure it is locked.{ CAUTION:A safety belt that is improperly routed, not properlyattached, or twisted will not provide the protectionneeded in a crash. The person wearing the beltcould be seriously injured. After raising the rearseatback, always check to be sure that the safetybelts are properly routed and attached, and arenot twisted.3. Make sure that the safety belt in the center seatingposition is not caught between the two seats and isnot twisted.1-19
