Rear Window DefoggerThe rear window defogger uses a warming grid toremove fog from the rear window.< (Rear Window Defogger): Press this button to turnthe rear window defogger on or off. The systemautomatically turns off several minutes after it has beenactivated. The defogger can also be turned off byturning off the engine. Do not drive the vehicle until allthe windows are clear.For vehicles with heated outside rearview mirrors, themirrors will heat to help clear fog or frost from thesurface of the mirror when the rear window defog buttonis pressed.Notice:Do not use anything sharp on the insideof the rear window. If you do, you could cut ordamage the warming grid, and the repairs would notbe covered by the vehicle warranty. Do not attacha temporary vehicle license, tape, a decal oranything similar to the defogger grid.Dual Automatic Climate ControlSystemThe heating, cooling, and ventilation in the vehicle canbe controlled with this system. The vehicle also hasa flow-through ventilation system described later in thissection.If this vehicle is a Two-mode Hybrid, see the Two-modeHybrid manual for more information.3-24
