PASSENGER DOOR OPENThis message displays and a chime sounds if the frontpassenger door is not fully closed and the vehicle isshifted out of P (Park). Stop and turn off the vehicle,check the door for obstructions, and close the dooragain. Check to see if the message still appearson the DIC.REAR ACCESS OPENThis message displays and a chime sounds if theliftgate or liftglass is open while the ignition is inON/RUN. Turn off the vehicle and check the liftgate andliftglass. Restart the vehicle and check for the messageon the DIC display.REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVEThis message displays while you are matching aRemote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter to your vehicle.See Matching Transmitter(s) to Your Vehicle underRemote Keyless Entry (RKE) System Operationon page 2-5andDIC Operation and Displays (With DICButtons) on page 3-52 orDIC Operation and Displays(Without DIC Buttons) on page 3-58 for moreinformation.REPLACE BATTERY IN REMOTE KEYThis message displays if a Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)transmitter battery is low. The battery needs to bereplaced in the transmitter. Check to see if the message stillappears on the DIC.SERVICE 4 WHEEL DRIVEThis message displays if a problem occurs with thefour-wheel-drive system. If this message appears, stopas soon as possible and turn off the vehicle. Makesure the key is in the LOCK/OFF position for at leastone minute and then restart the vehicle and checkfor the message on the DIC display. If the message isstill displayed or appears again when you begindriving, the four-wheel-drive system needs service. Seeyour dealer/retailer.3-68
