3-5Driver's Side Temperature KnobThe driver's side knob is used to adjust the temperatureof the air coming through the system on the driver'sside. Turn the knob counterclockwise to lower the cabintemperature. The display will show the temperaturedecreasing as you turn the knob counterclockwise. Turnthe knob clockwise to increase the cabin temperature.The display will show the temperature increasing as youturn the knob clockwise. When this knob is adjusted, theword DRIVER will be displayed under the temperaturesetting. If the passenger's set temperature has not beenadjusted, this knob controls both the driver's andpassenger's air temperature.Passenger's Side Temperature KnobThe passenger's side knob can be used to change thetemperature of the air coming through the system on the passenger's side of the vehicle. Turn the knobcounterclockwise to lower the cabin temperature. Thedisplay will show the temperature decreasing as you turnthe knob counterclockwise. Turn the knob clockwise toincrease the cabin temperature. The display will showthe temperature increasing as you turn the knobclockwise. When this knob is adjusted, only the wordPASS will be displayed under the temperature setting.The temperature to the rear seat area is controlled byusing this knob.Once this knob is used, the passenger's set temperaturewill remain independent of the driver's until the ignitionhas been turned off.Fan SwitchThe switch with the fan symbol allows you to manuallyadjust the fan speed. Press the up arrow to increase fanspeed and the down arrow to decrease fan speed.MODE ButtonPress this button to manually select the air deliverymode to the floor, panel or windshield outlets. Thesystem will stay in the selected mode until the MODEbutton is pressed again or the AUTO button is pressed.DisplayIn full AUTO mode, the automatic climate controlsystem display will show the outside temperature,labeled EXT for external temperature, and AUTO. If you press the MODE button to select an air deliverymode, the display will change to also show you thecurrent system mode. If you press the up or downarrows on the fan switch, the display will change toshow the selected fan speed. After five seconds, thedisplay will change to show the EXT temperature andthe selected manual setting.
