83The exposure meter is also turned off if the shut-ter is not cocked and/or the shutter speed set-ting dial is set to B/OFF (i.e. the camera is turned off).Notes:If the shutter is not cocked or the displays goout, the camera is in "standby” mode.With very little ambient light, i.e. at the limits ofthe exposure meter’s range, it can take around0.2s for the LEDs to light up.If you are below the exposure meter’s meteringrange at very low light densities, the left-hand triangular LED flashes as a warning.Setting the exposure / an appropriate shut-ter speed/aperture combinationIf the exposure is to be set in accordance withthe data from the exposure meter, the shuttermust be fully cocked and the shutter speed set-ting dial (10) must be set to one of the engravedshutter speeds.Then:1. Turn on the exposure meter by lightly pressingthe shutter release (7, to pressure point).2. Turn the shutter speed setting dial and/or theaperture setting dial on the lens (18) until onlythe circular LED is lit.As well as the direction of rotation of the aper-ture setting ring necessary for correct exposure,the three LEDs in the light balance also indicateunderexposure, overexposure and correct expo-sure in the following way:Underexposure of at least one f-stop; rotation of aperture ring to the rightand/or the shutter speed dial to the leftis necessaryUnderexposure of 1/2f-stop; rotation ofaperture ring to the right or the shutter speed dial to the left is necessaryCorrect exposureOverexposure of1/2f-stop; rotation ofaperture ring to the left or the shutterspeed dial to the right is necessaryOverexposure of at least one f-stop; rotation of aperture ring to the leftand/or the shutter speed dial to theright is necessary
