PassengerTemperatureControlO (On/Off):Press to turn the climate control system onor off. Outside air still enters the vehicle, and is directed tothe floor. This direction can be changed by pressing themode button. Recirculation can be selected once youhave selected vent or bi-level mode. The temperature canalso be adjusted using either temperature button. If theair delivery mode or temperature settings are adjustedwith the system off, the display illuminates briefly to showthe settings and then returns to off. The system can beturned back on by pressing eitherO ,D,C,# , thedefrost or the AUTO button.Driver and Passenger Side TemperatureControlThe driver and passenger side temperature buttons areused to adjust the temperature of the air comingthrough the system on the driver or passengers side ofthe vehicle. The temperature can be adjusted even ifthe system is turned off. This is possible since outsideair always flows through the system as the vehicleis moving forward unless it is set to recirculation mode.See Recirculation later in this section.Press the + or−buttons to increase or decrease thecabin temperature. The driver side or passengerside temperature display shows the temperature settingdecreasing or increasing.3-25
