Fault Possible cause Possible solutionBefore calling the Technical Service, pleasemake the following checks:FOR ALL THE MODELS:The induction zones are not heating upThe pan is unsuitable (itdoes not have a ferromag -netic base or it is toosmall).Check that the pan basereacts to a magnet, or use alarger pan. When you start using the induction zones, you heara buzzing soundThe pan is light or madeup of more than one part. The buzzing comes fromenergy being transmitteddirectly to the base of thepan. This buzzing is not a fault. If,however, you wish to avoid it,lower the power level slightlyor use a pan that has a hea -vier base, and/or that is madeof a single partThe touch control does not come on or, if itcomes on, it does not workNo hotplate has beenselected.Make sure that a hotplatehas been selected beforetrying to use it.The lock is enabledDisable the lock. The sensors and/or yourfingers are damp.Keep the touch control's surface and your fingers dry.The sound of a fan can be heard while cooking, and it continues whenthe cooker has been turned off. There is a fan in theinduction zones to coolthe electronics. The fan only comes on whenthe electronics heat up -when the temperature goesdown it goes off automati -cally, whether or not the hobis on.When frying or making a stew, the energy in the induction zones seemsto decrease ("the hotplate gets less hot")If the temperature of theglass or of the electricsgets too high while coo -king, a self-protection sys -tem is triggered thatadjusts the power of thehotplates so that the tem -perature does not get anyhigher.Overheating problems whilecooking only occur underconditions of extreme use(cooking for a long time at fullpower) or when the hob hasbeen wrongly installed.Check that the hob has beeninstalled as described in theinstruction manual. If something doesn't workGB32
