Video Memory: Dell OptiPlex GX1 Small-Form-Factor System User's Guidefile:///C|/infodev/2013/eDoc/OpGX1/UG/vid_mem.htm [2/21/2013 11:47:23 AM]4. Replace the expansion-card cage . 5. Replace the computer cover, and reconnect your computer and peripherals to their electrical outletsand turn them on.NOTE: If Enabled, the Chassis Intrusion option will cause the following message to be displayedat the next system start-up:ALERT! Cover was previously removed.As the system boots, it detects the presence of the new video memory and automatically changes thesystem configuration information in the System Setup program.6. Enter the System Setup program, and confirm that the amount of video memory displayed in the VideoMemory option is 8 MB.If the video memory total is incorrect, turn off the system, remove the computer cover, and reseatthe video-memory upgrade module in its socket.7.
