Outside MirrorsTo receive maximum benefit, adjust the outside mirror(s)to center on the adjacent lane of traffic and a slightoverlap of the view obtained from the inside mirror.NOTE:The passenger side convex outside mirror willgive a much wider view to the rear, and especially of thelane next to your vehicle.WARNING!Vehicles and other objects seen in the passenger sideconvex mirror will look smaller and farther awaythan they really are. Relying too much on yourpassenger side convex mirror could cause you tocollide with another vehicle or other object. Use yourinside mirror when judging the size or distance of avehicle seen in the passenger side convex mirror.Outside Mirrors Folding Feature If EquippedSome models have outside mirrors that are hinged. Thehinge allows the mirror to pivot forward and rearward toresist damage.
