•For vehicles equipped with Keyless Enter-N-Go ,press the Keyless Enter-N-Go Start/Stop button(requires at least one valid Key Fob in the vehicle).•For vehicles not equipped with Keyless Enter-N-Go,insert a valid key into the ignition switch and turn thekey to the ON position.NOTE:•The drivers door key cylinder and the trunk button onthe RKE transmitter cannot arm or disarm the VehicleSecurity Alarm.•When the Vehicle SecurityAlarm is armed, the interiorpower door lock switches will not unlock the doors.The Vehicle Security Alarm is designed to protect yourvehicle; however, you can create conditions where thesystem will give you a false alarm. If one of the previouslydescribed arming sequences has occurred, the VehicleSecurity Alarm will arm regardless of whether you are inthe vehicle or not. If you remain in the vehicle and open adoor, the alarm will sound. If this occurs, disarm theVehicle Security Alarm.If the Vehicle Security Alarm is armed and the batterybecomes disconnected, the Vehicle Security Alarm willremain armed when the battery is reconnected; theexterior lights will flash, the horn will sound. If thisoccurs, disarm the Vehicle Security Alarm.Tamper AlertIf something has triggered the Vehicle Security Alarm inyour absence, the horn will sound three times and theexterior lights will blink three times when you disarm theVehicle Security Alarm.
