Press and hold the SELECT button fortwo seconds to reset displayed/selected features that canbe reset.BACK ButtonPress the BACK button to return to the mainmenu from an info screen or sub-menu item.Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC)DisplaysThe EVIC display consists of three sections:1. The top line where compass direction and outsidetemperature are displayed.2. The main display area where the menus and pop upmessages are displayed.3. The reconfigurable telltales section.The main display area will normally display the mainmenu or the screens of a selected feature of the mainmenu. The main display area also displays pop upmessages that consist of approximately 60 possible warn-ing or information messages. These pop up messages fallinto several categories:•Five Second Stored MessagesWhen the appropriate conditions occur, this type ofmessage takes control of the main display area forfive seconds and then returns to the previous screen.Most of the messages of this type are then stored (as longas the condition that activated it remains active) and canbe reviewed from theMessagesmain menu item. Aslong as there is a stored message, an iwill be displayedin the EVICs compass/outside temp line.
