The rainsensor is mounted on the windshield, directly infront of the interior rearview mirror.Activating intermittent wipe or rainsensorPress the button, arrow 3. The LED in the buttonlights up.Setting speed for intermittent wipe orsensitivity of the rain sensorTurn thumbwheel 5 up or down.Deactivating intermittent wipe or rainsensorPress the button again, arrow 3. The LED in thebutton goes out.Deactivate the rain sensor in car washesDeactivate the rain sensor when passingthrough an automatic car wash; otherwise, dam‐age could be caused by undesired wiper activa‐tion.◀Cleaning the windshield andheadlampsPull the lever, arrow 4.The system sprays washer fluid on the wind‐shield and activates the wipers briefly.When the vehicle lighting system is switched on,the headlamps are cleaned at regular and ap‐propriate intervals.Do not use the washer system at freezingtemperaturesDo not use the washers if there is any dangerthat the fluid will freeze on the windshield; oth‐erwise, your vision could be obscured.
