DisplaysVehicle equipmentThis chapter describes all series equipment aswell as country-specific and special equipmentoffered for this model series.Therefore, it alsodescribes equipment that may not be found inyour vehicle, for instance due to the selectedspecial equipment or the country version. Thisalso applies to safety-related functions and sys‐tems.Odometer, outsidetemperature display, clock1 Knob in the instrument cluster2 Outside temperature display and clock3 Odometer and trip odometerKnob in the instrument cluster▷To reset the trip odometer while the ignitionis switched on.▷To display the time, external temperatureand odometer briefly while the ignition isswitched off.Units of measureTo set the respective units of measure, miles orkm for the odometer and ℃ or ℉ for the externaltemperature, refer to page 63.The setting is stored for the remote control cur‐rently in use.Time, outside temperature displaySet the time, refer to page 64.External temperature warningIf the display drops to 37 ℉/3 ℃, a signal soundsand a warning lamp lights up.
