3. Without releasing the button proceedwithCanadian/Gate Operator Programming Step 2 and follow allremaining steps.Using HomeLinkfiTo operate, press and release the programmed HomeLinkfibutton. Activation will now occur for the programmeddevice (i.e., garage door opener, gate operator, securitysystem, entry door lock, home/office lighting, etc.,). Thehand-held transmitter of the device may also be used at anytime.SecurityIt is advised to erase all channels before you sell or turnin your vehicle.To do this, press and hold the two outside buttons for 20seconds until the red indicator flashes.
