Be careful not to catchyour fingers, hair, or clothing in the hinge.* When using the viewfinderWhen operating the selector dial with your eye to theviewfinder, care should be taken not to put your finger inyour eye accidentally.A Note on Memory CardsThe COOLPIX 900 uses Compact Flash flash-memory cards tostore photographs. While the COOLPIX 900 can be used withany make of compact flash-memory that conforms to CompactFlash specifications, it does not perform equally well with allmakes of card. The use of Nikon compact flash-memory cardsis recommended.Other CautionsTo ensure that you can continue to enjoy the use of yourCOOLPIX 900, you should observe the following precautions.4 Do not touch the lens with your fingersThe proper procedure for cleaning the camera's lens isdescribed in "Caring for Your Camera."4 Handle the lens and moving parts with careDo not apply force to the lens or to the battery, card, orconnector covers. These parts are especially susceptible todamage. Do not attempt to rotate the lens and viewfinder pastthe limits of the hinge. When carrying the camera, do not pickthe camera up by the lens.
