- 66 -Playback: Auto OffAuto OffWhen the camera is operating on battery power, the monitorturns off automatically if no action is performed for thirty sec-onds (if a slideshow is in progress, the monitor will remain onfor thirty minutes). This limit can be extended for ordinaryplayback. To change the time until the monitor turns off auto-matically, highlight AUTO OFF in the playback menu andpress the shutter button. The following menu will appear.BK UATO OFFSETSHUTTER50s1mm033mSettings of thirty seconds, one minute, five minutes, and thirtyminutes are available. Highlight the desired setting and pressthe shutter button to put the change into effect, or highlightBK and press the shutter button to discard any changes andreturn to the playback menu. Pressing the MENU button willreturn you to playback mode.Note: When the monitor goes off automatically, all other camerafunctions are deactivated and the camera itself is effectively off,consuming almost no power. The camera can be reactivated bypressing the MONITOR button or by pressing the shutter buttonhalf-way.
